I love Mediterrean cooking-anything with tomatoes and green peppers! Chinese cooking is up there, too. I learned to make Tuna and Noodles when a teenager and it is still a standard year 'round. I add frozen peas and carrots to enhance the look! All the recipes I submit are those of which I have had great success, both in flavor and eye-appeal!
I throw my disasters out! A PERFECT RECIPE: I didn't have potatoes-so I substituted rice. I didn't have paprika-so I used another spice. I didn't have tomato sauce-I used tomato paste: A whole can, not a half can-I don't believe in waste. A friend gave me the recipe; she said you couldn't beat it. There must be something wrong with her-I couldn't even eat it!
I was born in the midwest, grew up in California, moved back to the midwest. I worked in the garment industry as a pattern maker. I do all kinds of needlework, drawing, watercolor painting, quilting, play piano and dulcimer. I collect books, need I say more? (I don't have enough book cases to house them all!)
