Mix ground beef, ketchup, hamburger seasoning and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Shape into four patties.
Grill patties over medium heat 4-6 minutes per side or until burgers reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees F. Add cheese slices to each burger one minute before cooking is completed, and toast buns on the grill, open side down, about 30 seconds.
Serve burgers with bacon slices on toasted buns, and garnish with desired toppings and condiments.

01/18/09 07:47 PM | Delicious and SimpleThis is an excellent burger recipe. I used ground chuck and decreased the Grill Mates seasoning to 1/2-3/4 tbsp the second time I made these burgers and they were fantastic! If grilling with charcoal.... wait until your coals are completely gray. I have also found that if you don't press down on the burger while it's cooking it will be juicy and tender (unlike the dried up hockey pucks that sometimes come off the grill with press happy people). My family requests these burgers at least once a week and the recipe is so simple they are a pleasure to make. |

08/31/08 01:00 PM | THE Burger...Let your coals cook down to a low heat, then put your burgers on. Let them cook on each side for a while. and turn often. Then, after about 15 minutes, put the cheese on. While the burgers are cooking, sprinkle some pepper, and some ground oregano. It will be juicy, and plump, and mouth-watering. The mistake that a lot of people make, is that there has to be a fire. A low, hot fire is your best bet for a good burger. |

08/31/08 09:17 AM | RARE, BABYHow to ruin a good burger? Cook it well or medium well. I won't even eat it. Rare or medium rare is the ONLY way that burger's going in my mouth. I've been eating them that way for 49 years, never gotten sick once. I'd rather eat a shoe than a well done burger. |

Here's an easy, reliable way to ensure a moist and flavorful turkey...simply baste the turkey with chicken stock during roasting. When the turkey is done, use a bit more stock to make a quick and tasty gravy.
