1. Add ingredients to remaining batter from Starter recipe 2. Beat well 3. Pour into two well greased and sugared loaf pans (you can also small loaf pans to give breads as gifts) 4. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes until golden brown on top and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean 5. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pans NOTE: Add nuts, raisins if desired

10/05/08 10:16 PM | StarterI found the Amish Friendship Bread Starter just fine. Thanks for submitting it. My grandmother used to make this when I was growing up and I have been wanting to make it myself. Again thanks for submitting the recipe. |

09/01/08 10:15 PM | amish friendship breadI agree with DLOWRY. If there is no recipe for the starter, then why have the rest of the recipe. And I have tried the web site listed by SJSpakoski and it doesn't work. |

02/28/08 01:29 AM | Amish Friendship BreadKind of hard to make, since there is no recipe given for the "starter" dough. How dumb can you be? |
