Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter - softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar - firmly packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 packages Andes Mint Chocolate Candies
  • 1 package walnut halves

Cooking Instructions

Combine all ingredients, except candy, in large bowl. Mix at low speed until dough forms. Drop by scant teaspoons 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet.

Press candy wafers on top of each teaspoon of dough. Cover with scant teaspoon of dough. Top with walnut halves.

Bake at 375 degrees 9-12 minutes. Transfer to cooling rack and let cool completely.
