Antoni's chocolate coconut pie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup baking cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 16 mini Almond Joy candy bars,chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 9-inch pie shell

Cooking Instructions

in saucepan,combine the sugar,cornstarch,cocoa and salt. Stir in milk until smooth,bring to boil over med heat.Cook,stir for 2 min. or until thickened. Remove from heat. Add chopped candy and vanilla. Stir until chocolate is melted. Bake pie shell as directed.Cool completely. Pour mix into cooled pie shell. Refrigerate about 4 hrs or until set. Top w/ whip cream.

My son-in-law loves this pie, or anything to do w/ coconut!
