Ingredients

  • 4 cups diced pared apples
  • 1 cup nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp each salt,allspice,and nutmeg
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup butter/marg melted
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 large eggs beaten

Cooking Instructions

Brease and flour 2 loaf pans/tins Stir apples,nuts and sugar together let stand for 1 hour stirring often. mix together all dry ingredients. add apple mixture and stir well. stir in butter, vanilla, then the eggs. Bake in 325 oven for 1 hour and 15 mins
