Apples & Onions

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbs Butter
  • 2 large yellow onions
  • 3 grannysmith apples
  • 2-3 Tbs brown sugar

Cooking Instructions

Peel apples then slice thinnly. do the same with the onions. In a large frting pan melt butter on medium heat, add onion slices. Saute about 5 minutes just until tender. Add apple slices, saute together with onion about 5 minutes until tender, add 2 Tbs of brown sugar mixing until all is coated, taste, add more brown sugar if needed for taste.

Recipe Notes

I always make this side dish for our Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Even people who don't normally like onions love this dish.
