Apricot Jello Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 pkgs Apricot Jello
  • 1 lg can crushed pineapple
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 12 oz Cool Whip

Cooking Instructions

Heat Pineapple (including juice) bring to a boil.

Add Jello stirring till throughly mixed. Cool till partially set.

Add the buttermilk stirring till blended. Mix in about 9oz Cool Whip.

Pour into serving bowl. Top with remaining Cool Whip.

Refrigerate till serving time.

Recipe Notes

I usually place the pineapple-Jello mixture in the freezer for about 20 minutes to cool and partially set before adding the buttermilk. This is a family favorite. It is light, and the apricot and pineapple lend a zing with buttermilk toning , and the s
