I am thinking....

I am thinking that Bacon is the Family name, not ingredient. Sounds very good though and will probably try it.

Read & Think

Sounds good, plan on trying it. Re: the 2 pounds of rice: it calls for 2 pounds of COOKED rice, not 2 pounds of RAW rice, so that's not really an unreasonable quantity.

Yum!

Yummmm! Rice stuffing sounds like a nice change! I'd still have regular stuffing on the side though lol

Questionable Quantity

This recipe calls for 2 POUNDS of rice...that's an awful lot! Just 2 CUPS of uncooked rice will make 6 cups when it's cooked. I think the rice quantity is an error. That's really the problem with a lot of the recipes on this site...people just slop down their posts and don't check or proofread. I don't like to waste ingredients!

Here's an easy, reliable way to ensure a moist and flavorful turkey...simply baste the turkey with chicken stock during roasting. When the turkey is done, use a bit more stock to make a quick and tasty gravy.
