Ingredients

  • 1 baking potato

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Scrub the potato and prick it with a fork to prevent steam from building up and causing the potato to explode in your oven.

Bake for 1 1/2 hours.

This recipe was really cool. Some of us have ADD and don't know how to an oven because it takes too long. Things like this on the internet are why God invented Google. You guys rock!

Enter the title of your review NOT your ordinary potato

I like to slice the potato nearly in half the long way, sprinkle with salt and pepper, add a large slice of onion, 2 strips of precooked bacon, 2 pats of butter and wrap in foil securely. Bake and taste "not your ordinary" potato!!

not everyone knows

Indeed Julia Child always said to cook at 425, never wet, and don't puncture until it has cooked for 20 minutes. Also, I put oil on mine with salt and pepper so there are variations.
