Ingredients

  • 1/2 pint strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar, or to taste
  • 1-1 1 teaspoons balsamic or red-wine vinegar

Cooking Instructions

Place strawberries in a bowl and toss with sugar to taste. Sprinkle with vinegar to taste. Let stand for 20 minutes before serving.

Easy and Refreshing

I was looking for healthy food alternatives and ways to incorporate fruits and/or vegetables into an appetizer and dessert and this was a refreshing way to do it.
