Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 3 Tablespoons sour milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup mashed bananas

Cooking Instructions

Mix all ingredients together. Pour into well greased bread pan. Let stand for 20 minutes before baking. Bake in 350º oven until it tests done. About 50 – 60 minutes.

Recipe Notes

This makes one loaf - - can be doubled Don’t turn oven on before mixing.

A little bland

Preferred to add some cinnamon and all-spice, just about a teaspoon of each. Made very tasty. This is a very easy and moist recipe.
