Sift flour, salt, and soda into large mixing bowl. Add sugar, butter, eggs, walnuts and bananas. Mix well on medium speed. Pour into a well greased and floured bread pan. Let stand 20 minutes. Bake in a 350* oven for 70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean

02/11/09 02:46 PM | Banana Nut BreadMade this was bland but put 1-1/2 tsp. banana flavoring and 1 tsp.cinnamon and 1 tsp. nutmeg in this it is very tasty now but the basic recipe was just like my mom made thanks for the recipe I had lost the one my mom had given me many long years ago. Thanks Blue Eyes I think I know who you are from three other food sites but not sure.
