Ingredients

  • 2 cups of dried beans
  • salted water to cover
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 crushed cloves of garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • plenty of butter
  • fresh crushed garlic
  • a handful of chopped parsley

Cooking Instructions

Soak 2 cups of dried beans overnight (unless you use quick-cooking beans). Cook them in salted water to cover with 1 onion stuck with 2 cloves, 2 crushed cloves of garlic and a bay leaf. When tender, remove from the stove and drain well. Dress with plenty of butter, some fresh crushed garlic and a handful of chopped parsley.
