Beer-Marinated Flank Steak

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp. light brown sugar
  • 3 large cloves chopped garlic
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup premium lager beer
  • 2 lbs. flank steak

Cooking Instructions

Combine soy sauce sesame oil brown sugar garlic mustard Worcestershire sauce black pepper and beer in medium bowl. Submerge steaks in mixture and cover with plastic wrap; chill for a full day turning steaks occasionally. Grill flank steaks over medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes per side for medium-rare. Transfer steaks to carving board and let rest 15-20 minutes.

To serve slice steaks thinly across grain. Arrrange on platter and spoon any accumulated juices over top.
