Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 large sweet onion
  • 1 large green pepper
  • 2 cans black eye peas
  • 2 cloves mashed garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Cooking Instructions

Dice onion and pepper and combine with rest of ingredients. Mix thoroughly and chill before serving.

Recipe Notes

A must for New Years Celebration, a plus for picnics and cook outs. This has been a stand-by for my family for years. Very tasty and is especially good for people who claim they don't like black eye peas. All seem to like this recipe.
