'Boil pasta as package indicates, when pasta is almost done add drained can of blackeyed peas to warm thru. Saute the chopped onion in olive oil till golden brown. Drain pasta &peas and than toss together with onions and the oil. Sprinkle with cheese.
My mother always cooked this when she did not have alot of time.
