Fry the bacon in a pan until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
Wash, dry and halve your cherry tomatoes and place in a non-reactive bowl. Add the blue cheese dressing and some black pepper to taste (I like at least 3 good cranks of the pepper mill). Toss the tomatoes to coat.
Wash and dry your Romaine lettuce leaves. Tear each leaf in half cross wise, creating 6 smaller length lettuce leaves.
Toast your slices of Sour Dough bread. Once bread is toasted remove and start building your sandwich.
Place 4 strips of bacon on the bottom of two slices of bread. Top each sandwich with half the tomatoes, then the lettuce and then the other piece of bread. Slice in half and serve.
