Ingredients

  • 4-5 slices Bread quartered
  • 10-12 lg Eggs
  • 1 can Evaporated Milk
  • 1 1/2 cups Water
  • 1 lb Breakfast Sausage, brown , drain
  • 1 1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 cups Cheddard Cheese , shredded
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper or to taste

Cooking Instructions

Line bottom of 13 X 9 baking dish with bread pieces. In large bowl combine all remaining ingredients. Pour over bread cover with foil and refrigerate 4-5 hours or overnight. Bake covered loosley 350 degrees for approx 60 minutes until golden brown * Optional * Serve with your favorite Salsa This recipe can be modified to any taste.ie: omit sausage. Add 2 cups cubed ham and 1/2 onion 1/2 green pepper sauted. 1 small can sliced mushrooms. swiss or cheddar.
