Broccoli Rabe and Garlic

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 16 ounces broccoli rabe, rinsed, trimmed and cut crosswise in 1-inch-wide pieces (10 cups)

Cooking Instructions

Heat oil and garlic in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat 1 minute or until garlic is aromatic.

Add broccoli rabe and 3 tablespoons water. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 8 to 10 minutes until stems are tender.

Top each serving with strips of Parmesan cheese shaved off a chunk with a vegetable peeler.
