Cedar Planked Honey Lime Salmon

Ingredients

  • Marinade:
  • 2 tablespoons coarse grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 teaspoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons grated lime zest
  • Salmon:
  • 4-6 ounces salmon fillets or 1 1/2 pounds salmon
  • 1-15& cedar plank, soaked

Cooking Instructions

FIRST: Preheat grill to medium-low heat, about 350 degrees F.

NEXT: Combine marinade ingredients in a small bowl. Pour over salmon and marinate at room temperature for 10 minutes.

LAST: Place soaked plank on grill, close lid, and heat for 3 minutes. Using tongs, turn plank over and place salmon on heated side of plank. Close lid and cook for 12-15 minutes until medium rare (salmon will continue to cook once removed from grill). Remove salmon and plank from grill and serve.

Recipe Notes

If you don't have a cedar plank handy, you can easily grill this salmon directly on the grill. I prefer the smokiness from the plank and you don't have to worry about flipping the fish and it falling apart!
