Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked lentils, drained
  • 1 cup soft bread crumbs, packed
  • 1/2 lb cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 tsp thyme

Cooking Instructions

1 Preheat the oven to 350F.

2 Combine all the ingredients and mix thoroughly.

3 Bake in a greased 9 x 4 x 3-inch loaf pan 45 minutes. Serve with tomato sauce.
