Place the grits, water, and salt in a 2 qt. saucepan. Cook for 5 min.
Add the butter, cheese, garlic, cayenne and eggs.
Stir well. Pour mixture into a buttered 1 1/2 qt. casserole.
Bake in a preheated 350* oven for 30 min.
