Preheat over to 350 Degrees.
Cream the butter with the sugar. As the butter and sugar mixture becomes fluffy, add the vanilla and eggs (one at a time)
Sift the flour, salt and baking soda and then add to the wet ingredients, slowly incorporating. Once all the dry mixture is added and starting to ball around the attachment stop and scrap down the sides.
Now add the chips, cherries and pecans and mix and until fully incorporated.
I a 1 oz scoop and place my cookies on ungreased baking sheets. You can drop by tabelspoons. Bake for 12-15 minutes rotating the pans midway through. Cookies are down when the tops are golden brown
Remove from the oven and cool on racks. Best served with an ice cold glass of milk.
COOKING TIME IS 12-15 MINS

12/10/07 04:48 PM | Crispy, Chewy and DeliciousI made these yesterday and they are fantastic. The finished cookie was crispy with the chewiness of the dried cherries adding a sweetness to the rich chocolate and pecans. A keeper for sure. |
