Ingredients

  • 1 can Cherry Pie filling
  • 1 pkg JIFFY white cake mix
  • 1/4 c butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c nuts--pecans ( if desired)

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 350. Spread pie filling in 8" square pan. Combine cake mix and nuts in bowl .Add soft butter(I melt in microwave)and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over top of pie filling. Bake 45-50 minutes unti golden brown. ( I slice more butter across the top)

Cherry pie

Why not hust buy a frozen pie crust, bake ten minutes at 425 F and put a can of any filling in the shell. Instant desert!

We call this Dump Cake

Dump a can of cherrie pie mix with one can of crushed pinapple in a pan. Sprinkle yellow cake mix on the top then drizzle 1 stick of melted butter on top. Bake @ 350 for 45 min. Its been our family favorite for years.
