Ingredients

  • 4 lbs broccoli, cooked or 3 packages frozen broccoli, cooked
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • White meat from 2 hens, cooked
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 2 c milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 6 tbsp white wine
  • 1/2 lb old english cheese, cubed

Cooking Instructions

Season broccoli with salt and pepper to taste. Place in the bottom of a greased casserole. Cover with sliced white meat.

Melt butter and mix in flour to make a smooth paste. Add milk and cook, stirring until thickened. Add the remaining ingredient and continue cooking until cheese is melted. Pour over chicken and broccoli. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes, or until heated. Place under broiler flame until top is light brown.
