Cooking Instructions

Mix the hoisin sauce honey soy sauce garlic and ginger in a large bowl to blend. Set the marinade aside. Using a sharp knife score the chicken all over. Add the chicken to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour but preferably overnight.

Position your oven rack 8 to 10 inches from the heating source and preheat the broiler. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with heavy-duty foil. Transfer the chicken and marinade to the baking sheet and broil for 15 minutes turning often and watching closely or until the chicken is cooked through and the marinade glazes the chicken.

Transfer the chicken to plates. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds garnish with cilantro sprigs and serve.

Delicious and Easy

Thanks Curtis for introducing me to Hoison Sauce. It works great on lots of meats. This receipe is a family football game favorite! I am sure that it will be requested during our much anticipated UNC college basketball season. Go heels!

Loved It!!

Made it when I saw the video online one day. It just sounded SOOO Different. I have been finding myself really bored with food and looking for a change. This was GREAT. I made it with Boneless Chicken cause I am not a fan of dark meat, however the drumsticks were on sale this week reaaly cheap so I am gonna give them a try. Plus I am going to cook them on the grill to keep out the heat, I am possitive this will be great though casue the marinade is just wonderful.

Love Asian!

This recipe hits on the great sweet and salty flavors of asian cuisine... it reminded me of this awesome recipe for asian barbecue ribs that I found in this new cookbook I got called "Get in the Kitchen, BIT@HES!" the recipe for the ribs is actually on their site.. it's something I would check out.. even if youre not into the cookbook itself.. which is hilarious.. but certainly not for everyone.. the site is bitchcooks.com
