Chicken in Wine

Ingredients

  • 1/4 1 butter
  • 3-4 lb chicken breasts
  • 8 oz white onions (drained)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp parsley flakes
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup red wine

Cooking Instructions

Melt butter in Dutch oven. Dredge chicken in flour and brown well in butter. Add remaining ingredients cover and put into very low (275) oven and bake for 2-21/2 hours. Serve with rice.
