Chicken Livers Marsala

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken livers
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 2 slices of prosciutto, diced
  • 8 bread triangles, sauteed
  • 1/4 cup Marsala wine

Cooking Instructions

1 Cut the livers in half and simmer in butter, together with the seasonings and prosciutto, 5 minutes.

2 Remove the livers from the pan and place them on the bread triangles. Add the wine to the pan gravy, cook 3 minutes and pour over the livers.
