Shred chicken after removing skin
Remove bottom portion of fresh asparagas. Cook asparagas until crisp tender.
Remove crescent rolls from container and cut in half.
Spread each piece of dough with 1 T of the cream cheese
Top with chicken and 3 or 4 of the asparagas spears.
Fold dough around the chicken/asparagas mixture and "bundles"
Bake at 375 degrees until puffed and golden brown.
Premade puff pastry sheets can also be used. Roll out each piece into a rectangle and cut into triangles. Spread with cream cheese and wrap around the asparagas and chicken. Brush with an egg wash and bake at 350 degrees until puffed and golden. Yum!
