chocolate peanut butter pudding cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tbs uns. cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teas. baking powder
  • pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbs canola oil
  • 1 tbs vanilla
  • 1/2 cup smooth or crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 tbs uns. cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup boiling water

Cooking Instructions

1. Coat slow cooker with butter flavored spray

2.In medium bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, salt. Make well in center, add milk, oil, vanilla,stir until blended. Stir in peanut butter, batter will be thick. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread evenly in cooker

3. Make topping: combine cocoa and sugar; pour in boiling water; do not stir. Cover and cook on HIGH until puffed and set, 2 to 2 1/4 hours.

4. Turn off cooker and let stand, for 30 minutes.

5. Serve in individual bowls. Good with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Recipe Notes

I don't see too many dessert recipes for slow-cookers. I just had to submit this one as it is a family favorite. I hope others will try it and enjoy it as much as we do.
