Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 2 t. salt
  • 1 T. vinegar
  • 1 T. tequila or cognac
  • 1 T. chili powder

Cooking Instructions

crush or mince garlic and mix with pork and all remaining ingredients thoroughly. Put mixture in a skillet (the addition of fat is unnecessary). Fry over a medium heat until well browned. Separate any chunks of meat with a fork during cooking.

This is great with scrambled eggs!

Recipe Notes

In California a friend practically lived on chorizo and eggs! Add a few veggies, like tomatoes and green peppers and you could almost make a Denver Omelet!
