place briskets fat side up in two separate tin roasters.
sprinkle with salt pepper and garlic powder.
place sliced onion on top of briskets.
mix chili sauce and coke(not diet) and pour over briskets.
cover tightly with aluminum foil.
bake at 350 for at least 4 hours.
chill overnight.
take out the meat ,slice and recover with same foil.
bake at 350 for an hour before serving.
this is from a joan nathan cook book, i made some changes. this brisket serves 10 makes lots of great gravy and everyone will ask for the recipe. i make this for everyone at the holidays. the longer it cooks the better it tastes. ENJOY!
