Creamed asparagus

Ingredients

  • 1 lb asparagus
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 med onion diced
  • 1/2 C milk
  • 1 tbsp Wondra sauce & gravy flour
  • to ta salt & peper
  • 4 slices buttered toast

Cooking Instructions

wash & cut asparagus into 1 inch pieces

Simmer asparagus in water until tender

Drain well

Add butter & diced onion to pan and saute" for 1 minute.

Add cooked asparagus milk and wondra flour.

Simmer for 1 minute or until sauce thickens.

Add salt & peper to taste
