Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups skim milk
  • 1 box (10 ounces) frozen leaf spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 4 ounces sliced dried beef, trimmed and cut in 1/2-inch-wide strips
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 slices whole-grain bread, toasted

Cooking Instructions

In a medium saucepan, whisk flour and milk until blended. Bring to a boil, whisking often. Add spinach, beef and pepper and cook until heated through. Serve over toast.
