Cooking Instructions

Place venison onion garlic vinegar Worcestershire sauce and Lawry seasoning in a 4-6 quart crock pot. Set on High and cook for 1-2 hours or until venison is tender. Cook Bacon until crispy. Then let cool and crumble. Add bacon salt catsup molasses and brown sugar to venison. Mix well. Turn crock pot to low setting and simmer for 2-4 hours. Serve over white rice or serve on barbecue buns.

Recipe Notes

if the barbecue seems a little runny, add corn starch to thicken. Serve over white rice or serve on barbecue buns. This is from our Hunting camp. Guys will eat anything but I finally got this right and it's now the main meal the first night!

Yuk! It's Bambi in a pot

Venison (for those who don't know) is deer. It is probably a deer that has been killed in the wild. Not very nice.

Here's an easy, reliable way to ensure a moist and flavorful turkey...simply baste the turkey with chicken stock during roasting. When the turkey is done, use a bit more stock to make a quick and tasty gravy.
