Crockpot Chicken Breasts A L'Oran..

Ingredients

  • 3 whole chicken breasts, halved
  • 2/3 c . flour
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1 t. nutmeg
  • 1/2 t. cinnamon
  • dash pepper
  • dash garlic powder
  • 2-3 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4" slices
  • 1 can condensed soup, cream of chicken or celery
  • 1 (4 oz) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 t. grated orange rind
  • 2 t. brown sugar
  • 3 T. flour
  • Serve with Buttered Rice

Cooking Instructions

Rinse chicken and pat dry.

Combine flour, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper, and garlic.

Thoroughly coat chicken in flour mixture.

Place sweet potatoe slices in bottom of crock pot, layer chicken breasts on top.

Combine soup with remaining ingredients. Stir well. Pour soup mixture over chicken breasts.

Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hrs. or until chicken and vegetables are tender.

Serve over hot buttered rice.
