Deb's Famous Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs 4 percent hamburger meat
  • 1 lg. egg
  • 1/3 c oatmeal
  • 1 pkg your favorite onion soup mix (packet)
  • 1 ea carrot celery mushroom onion green bell pepper finely chopped
  • 1/4 c fresh basil fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1/2 t dried celery seed sage and pepper
  • 2Tbs worchestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c B B Q sauce
  • 2 sm. cans of new potatoes
  • 1 can of whole or sliced carrots

Cooking Instructions

Heat oven to 325*. Mix all ingredients except cans thouroughly. Turn into 12 in. cast iron skillet or 13x9 pan shape into loaf. Run your finger straight down the middle of the loaf making a canal Squert BBQ sauce or ketchup in canal.. Add cans of potatoes on either side of the meatloaf add the carotts to both sides. Bake aprox. 45- 55 mins Enjoy!!

It was delicious, never thought to add vegetables to a meatloaf. Didn't take as long as it said either.
