With 6 eggs brought up to room temperature add them to a small pot of cold water, covering the eggs by about 2 inches of water.
Keep the water at a simmer. Cook the eggs for 7-9 minutes. Once they are done, run the cooked eggs under cold water.
Next cut the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yokes.
Place them in a bowl
Set the whites aside on a contoured egg serving tray if you have one.
Wipe your knife with a damp towel between each cut to make a clean cut.
Now mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste.
Refill the whites using about a tablespoon of the yoke mixture for each egg half.
Now finish them off by garnishing with chives and a sprinkle of paprika.

deviled eggssome good advice when you mash your egg yolks add the salt and pepper to them, then add your mayo, etc. it just makes them taste better. I mash egg yolks with salt and pepper, then I add sweet pickle redish, and mircle whip mix till very creamy then add to your whites. |

Egg shellsNice basic recipe :)
The reviews telling people to leave the shells in there should not be listened to. Majority of people I know would eb a little grossed out if they bit into something crunchy with a food they expect to have smooth texture. I know I would not eat it. |
