Cooking Instructions

Brown ground beef in small amount of oil til pink disappears. Add chopped onion, green pepper, and garlic. Continue cooking till vegetables are limp and meat is brown. Add tomatoes with juice, water, salt and pepper to taste, red pepper flakes, and broken spaghetti. Bring to boil, add mushrooms, cook 15 min. longer, until spaghetti is done. Allow to set for 10-15 min. and sauce will thicken.

When I have this in the next day or two, I like to add picante sauce and reheat in microwave.

You can also add chopped zucchini or eggplant along with the onions and green pepper-a nice addition!

Recipe Notes

I found that this is a great, quick, filling meal, serve with garlic toast and a salad..
