Place whole chicken in crock pot, add soup with 3-4 cans of water. Add spices. Cover and cook overnight or all day, depending on when you want to eat.
Remove chicken from crock pot and take off the bone. Carefully pour liquid into large pot and bring to boil. You may have to add more liquid, if so, chicken broth. Or water and a chicken boullion cube. Add rice and stir. When rice is almost done (25 min) add deboned chicken back to rice. Add butter and serve.
Cook chicken in crock pot overnight for Sunday dinner or all day for week day supper.
