Ingredients

  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced (see Tip)
  • 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
| More

Cooking Instructions

Dip egg slices in oil and sprinkle with salt and paprika.

Tip: To make hard-cooked eggs: Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan; cover with water. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook at the barest simmer for 10 minutes. Pour off hot water and run cold water over the eggs until completely cooled. To peel, crack the shell, then roll egg between your palms to loosen shell. Peel, starting at the large end. Rinse under cold water or dip in water to remove bits of shell.

Best boiled eggs

The best way to cook hard eggs is to bring them to a boil and turn the stove off and let them set in the water till the water is cool.

How to make perfect hard boiled eggs

I don't know where you got your supposed "cooks" but they don't know what they are doing when it comes to perfectly hard boiled eggs. Hire someone who knows.

Eggcetera

When I finally located the recipe it is nothing like the picture that is shown in the tips. It may be fine for some but I don't like my food oily. This is definitely not the perfect deviled egg.
