Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 large shallot
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 Tbs fresh ginger
  • 2 oz orange juice
  • 1 Tbs dried basil
  • 1 Tbs Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Cooking Instructions

1. Put all ingredients except olive oil into blender and puree.

2. Slowly add olive oil until all is incorporated.

Use as a dressing or fantastic marinade. Enjoy!

Ordinary Fowl, No More!

Love the Balsamic Marinade from one of Washington's Best, Chef James Thompson of Fusion's Cuisine. Used this for a family gathering. No leftovers here. A wonderful blend of flavors for chicken.
