Divide among three 12" x 10" x 2" insert pans. Coat bottom and sides well.
Sprinkle over the three prepared pans.
Combine well. Divide among the three prepared pans. Place over high heat and cook until mixture bubbles. Divide reserved batter over apples. Place in preheated 425F oven. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350F. Bake for 10 minutes more. Transfer to wire racks. Let cool 5 minutes before slicing.
