Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, very lightly beaten
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • confectioneers' sugar and confectioners sugar

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 450F. Combine eggs with salt and flour and gradually add the milk, beating all the time.

Spread the bottom and sides of a 10-inch skillet thickly with the butter and pour in the batter. Bake 20 minutes; reduce the heat to 350F and continue baking until crisp and brown. Place on a hot platter and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and lemon juice.

Don't know this one, but here is another one that will-

blow your mind! Start with one cup of Martha White hot-rise flour & one teaspoon of sugar. Add just enough water to make a thick batter. Melt one tablespoon of unsalted butter in a non-stick pan just until it sizzles. Add a portion of the batter. Flip as soon as bubbles form. Fry one minute more. Serve with maple syrup. German Pancake recipe

One of the best German Pancake recipes that I have tried. I even doubled it and made 2 batches and it came out great. Big family hit. I made a raspberry sauce instead of the powdered sugar/lemon that was recommended and it was super.
