1. Place 1 inch of water in a stockpot and bring to a boil.
2. Arrange the sugar snap peas and ginger on top of a steamer, and place over the boiling water. Cover and steam until the sugar snaps are tender yet still crisp, 4 to 6 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl and mist with oil; mix well. Serve immediately.
