Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1-1/2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2-1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1-1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • Freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 1 lb peeled baby carrots

Cooking Instructions

Combine the water, butter, sugar, salt and pepper in a 10-inch skillet. Add the carrots and place over medium-high heat . Cook, stirring occasionally, until all the water has evaporated and the carrots are tender, about 20 minutes. Divide among 4 plates and serve.
