Goat Cheese, Fig, Prosciutto Wontons

Ingredients

  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup chopped dried figs
  • 1/4 lb. prosciutto
  • 4 oz. goat cheese

Cooking Instructions

Roll goat cheese, figs and prosciutto into little balls and fold them into the won ton wrappers into triangles, sealing the edges with beaten egg whites. You can also plain water to seal the edges, but it doesn't stay sealed as well when dropped into frying oil.

Fry iin oil over medium high heat for just a few minutes on each side. Since there is nothing "raw" inside, just brown the wrappers.
