Grilled Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 whole chicken breasts, split and boned (skinned, if desired)
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Cooking Instructions

Place chicken in a shallow glass dish. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over chicken. Let stand 5 minutes, turning once. Grill or broil chicken 4 to 5 inches from heat source, basting once with marinade, until chicken is cooked through, about 5 minutes per side. Bring remaining marinade to a boil to serve as a dipping sauce for chicken.
