cube round steak into 1/2 in. pieces .Season flour & meat, salt ,pepper and garlic powder Flour meat , put in Hot skillet with oil brown meat on all sides add onion.Turn skillet down to medium heat add mushrooms (DRAINED)
add lid ,cook 20 mins,watching not to stick .stir often.Combine Cream of mushroom soup and milk Add slowly stirring till it returns to a boil.Lower heat to slow simmer. Add sour cream
Cook noodles as directed ,Drain.When meat is tender add noodles last few minutes before serving or on the side
The longer you cook the meat ,the more tender .Round steak seems to be a tougher cut of meat. Hamburger can be substituted as well.
